As an avid golfer and student of the game’s history, meeting professional golfers and collecting their signatures is a very fulfilling and humbling way to connect personally with the legacy of the sport and the people who have shaped the game we all love so much.

Mission Statement

The Major Quest is a personal, non-commercial pursuit rooted in respect for the game of golf, for the athletes who have defined it at the highest level and for the art of collecting. My mission is to collect the autographs of golfers who have won a major championship in the first quarter of the 21st century (beginning 2000 – end of 2025). The signatures are preserved on a carefully curated, customized plaque created solely for my private collection. Each signature represents a moment of excellence, dedication, and achievement in the modern history of the sport.

I affirm unequivocally that this collection is not intended for resale, trade, or any form of monetary gain. The value of this project lies not in financial worth, but in its personal, symbolic, and inspirational significance. Every autograph is obtained with integrity, transparency, and deep appreciation for the golfer’s time and legacy.

Completing a collection of this scope is an extraordinarily challenging—perhaps nearly impossible—endeavor. Yet it is precisely this challenge that defines this project’s purpose. Through perseverance, patience, and respect, this mission seeks to demonstrate that even the most ambitious goals can be pursued with honesty and determination, and that perceived impossibility should never discourage genuine passion or effort.
